The set of tableware are the reflection of five elements in Chinese Philosophy.

It represents the unity of the sapce.

Five elements is a Chinese philosophy, used to describe interaction and relationship between things

The five elements — wood, fire, earth, metal, water are believed to be the fundamental elements of everything in the universe

when five elements come together. Everything in universe are balance

For my work I only focus on the how five elements is being used in health through Chinese medicine.

When five elements apply in our health. Each element connects to different organs. They also apply to tastes, emotions, colours and season.

The colours of the glazes are reflecting the energy of yin and Yang in five elements. They are two complementary forces that distribute into five elements. Temmoku refers to Yang, white Shino refers to Yin

The surface treatments on every single bowl aremy understanding towards fives elements.

Inside of the bowls ate ancient Chinese calligraphy of elements.
